Facebook introduced new tools for its users last year. This tool allows users to see what data about you on Facebook is being accessed by third-party apps and websites. The tool known as ‘Off-Facebook Activity’ allows users to control these data sharing settings.

Here’s step-by-step guide on how to use this tool:

How to access Off-Facebook Activity

1.

Open Facebook and login

2.

Now, click on the drop-down icon at the top right and choose Security and Privacy

3.

Click on Settings and choose Your Facebook Information

4.

Then, click on Off-Facebook Activity option

How to view all the apps and websites accessing information from Facebook Off-Facebook Activity

1.

On the Off-Facebook Activity page, click on the Manage your off-Facebook activity. Enter your password for verification. Here you will see the list of all the apps and websites linked with your Facebook account.

How to disable Off-Facebook Activity for apps and websites

1.

Follow above mentioned steps and then choose the app or website for which you want to turn off the Facebook activity.

Click on it and scroll down to find the option ‘Turn off future activity from Truecaller: ID & spam block’. Click on it to disable Off-Facebook Activity for that particular app or website.

How to disable Off-Facebook Activity for all apps and website at once

Click on Manage Future Activities from the Off-Facebook Activity page

2.

Then, click on Manage Facebook Activity again in the popup

3.

At the next page, turn off the Future off-Facebook activity toggle to disable all the future Off-Facebook Activities.

How to clear Off-Facebook Activity history

1.

To do that, simply click on the Clear history button from the Off-Facebook Activity page. Confirm by clicking on Clear History button in the popup.
