Joker ‘virus’ continues to haunt Google, found in these 8 Android apps


Joker ‘troubles’ are back for Google. The researchers at Quick Heal Security Labs have detected a new batch of 8 Joker malware-laced apps on Google Play Store. Joker is one of the most persistent malware that continually targets Android devices. Every few months the data stealing malware finds its way into Google’s official app store by reportedly changing its code, execution methods, or payload-retrieving techniques. According to researchers, Joker steals users’ data, including SMS, contact list, device info, OTPs and more. Google has removed these apps from Play Store, but they will continue to stay on users Android phones till deleted. Here are the names of 8 apps that need to be removed.
