Mobile Covid-19 test unit set for Alness and Invergordon offers rapid checks for people without symptoms

QUICK Covid-19 testing for people without symptoms is being made available next week in two Easter Ross communities.

A mobile testing unit will be available in Alness and Invergordon.

People are being invited to drop in, get tested and take home more free test kits.

More regular testing – even for people with no symptoms – is being seen as key in the route out of the pandemic.

One in three people with coronavirus have no symptoms, but can still pass it on without realising, making getting tested an easy way to help communities stay safe.

The mobile clinic will be in Alness from Monday to Wednesday, and in Invergordon on Thursday and Friday.

Tests take just 10 minutes and your result is texted/emailed to you within an hour.
